Re: Predictions for the Draft

Why? They have Musgrave. They don't have a decent QB. I'd rather take Odunze now. Maybe even JJM. You don't hate the landing spot? You aren't down-grading him based on this? I'll let that slide. Bowers is one of the best TE prospects in years, and he went 13th overall. He was the first pick of this...

Re: Predictions for the Draft

A few thoughts— • Caleb and Rome? It's what I HOPED would happen. The Bears didn't screw it up. A+ • Wow QBs. My prediction of six was correct. Wash, NEP—good. Min—good. ATL? WTF? LOL Den...meh. • No RBs, as I said. But we all expected that. • Bowers to LVR is gross. I think this means I'm passing ...

Re: Predictions for the Draft

Is Pearsall pick a precursor to Aiyuk trade? If you believe Twitter reports, they’re more likely to trade Deebo than Aiyuk. https://x.com/mikesilver/status/1783705742379511834?s=46&t=_Iyv0gEFxj9G5rdNaPVEUw Deebo most likely for sure. They now have 4 elite-to-good short yardage players (Kittle, ...

Re: Somewhat early 2024 Draft thread

Looking at the ADP on real drafts at MFL. Legette was there at 2.12. Are you buying shares there? I thought he'd go a lot sooner. I was kind of OUT on him, but that late...I may have to take the shot. Thoughts on him? Find another receiver with his build and speed - and therefore upside to be a tru...

Re: Somewhat early 2024 Draft thread

^ Draft Capital should tell us what we need to know here then right? Yes and no. There are players with good draft capital whose bad rep off the field followed them to the NFL and they flamed out because of it. So, yes it's good to have, but it doesn't make those concerns a nothing burger. For exam...

Re: Somewhat early 2024 Draft thread

If he goes rd 1 to the Steelers, I guess a lot will be moving him up a tier in their WR-rankings. Simply due to Steelers historic ability to hit on WRs. The GM that made that run of WR picks is gone. (Pickens was selected in Colberts' final "hand over" draft) No doubt they still have some...

Re: Somewhat early 2024 Draft thread

I was a big Thomas fan, but seems like last week or two, no one has anything positive to say about him, all negatives. Maybe it is just prospect fatigue, who knows at this point? Hmmm. https://twitter.com/Steelersdepot/status/1782383308942586342 https://twitter.com/Schultz_Report/status/178...

Re: Somewhat early 2024 Draft thread

when i watch him, i see a lot of flat fastballs and not much else. i can also see him having shoulder problems at some point. time will tell.... and maybe he will be teh second coming. For what it's worth, you're not the only one saying this. This is where the critics come in. And two things that c...

Re: Somewhat early 2024 Draft thread

One thing I heard on the radio for why JJM is shooting up drafts is that a lot of college QBs don't run an NFL-style offense. They don't call plays (they get cards?) and JJM is the only one that has been calling plays, understands how that all works. So just keep that in mind. I would hope NFL scou...

Re: Somewhat early 2024 Draft thread

I agree, that trade makes it seem very likely they will trade up. I just wouldn't like the overall move if they also have to add next year's 1st. Uhhh... you guys are talking Vikings, right? About that "next year's first"... If a 3rd 1st is added to this deal it will be 2026, not 2025. Th...

Re: Somewhat early 2024 Draft thread

I would be upset if they traded that much for either of those QB's. Maybe Ok with it if for Daniels. Would rather they stay put and pick either Nix or Penix at 11 or 23 than give up that much. But trading to get the 2nd first is a strange move if not a precursor to move up. I don't think they're sa...

Re: Somewhat early 2024 Draft thread

Where I'm drafting I am probably avoiding the RBs this year. Unless Brooks/Bensen fall to 2.02 in Superflex (doubt it) I'm getting shares of Harrison and then a lot of 2nd/3rd round WR fliers. Somebody has to stick. I legitimately think one of those two could fall to 2.02. Landing spots are going t...

Re: Why "experts" ignore Brandon Rice?

What does your uncle think about his preparedness? Are we getting a Ready Rice or is this more of a simmer and be patient dish? All I know is that this Rice is heavily discounted. You can find it in the clearance aisle under "90's Name-Brand Nepotism". Why "experts" ignore Jerma...
