Re: Keeper Advice

Thanks. The more I think about it, I have been leaning that direction as well, but good to hear another opinion. I appreciate it!

Re: help with keepers please

Keep Hill and Diggs. Take a stud RB with either the 4 or 7 and go WR with the rest of the 1st round.

Keeper Advice

I play in a 12 team superflex league with up to 4 keepers. I can keep Melvin Gordon in 2nd and Mike Evans in the 3rd. It seems like a no-brainer, however, knowing the how the league drafts and the other QBs I would expect to be kept, I am very nervous about my ability to draft a 2nd QB in the 4th ro...

Mixon. If you're simply opposed to drafting him, I would try trading down a few spots for Samaje Perine.

Re: Startup league ideas??

I much prefer superflex to 2 QB for the simple reason that there are just not enough starting QBs for everyone to have 2 starters plus a back up. It really only works for 10 team leagues or fewer and even then you almost have to limit teams to 3 QBs on their roster, which isn't fun, especially for a...

Re: RBs vs WRs in dynasty

Having only skimmed this thread, I tend to agree with what others are saying. When constructing my roster, I like to build around WRs for the reasons you and others have mentioned here (career length, injury risk). When it comes to rookie drafts, however, it's a combination of team need and taking w...

QB Usage Stats

Does anybody know a good site for QB positional usage stats? For example, if I want to know how often Andrew Luck throws to his TEs relative to his WRs, where is the best place to find that?

Re: Startup Strategy

I personally don't like to make too many trades in a startup until at least a few rounds in and I can begin to see how teams are strategies are shaping up (a big reason why I prefer slow drafts). the best strategy with trades, however, is to only offer up fair ones and don't be afraid to slightly ov...

Re: Sell me on this Best Ball League...

I love the dynasty leagues I am in and have recently got into best ball, which i also like. That said, i really don't understand the appeal of combining the two. The fun of best ball is drafting, which is substantially reduced once you get past the start up. And by not being able to trade, that real...

Re: OJ Howard TE premium

I'm very high on Howard in TE+ leagues and would take him as high as 1.05, though you have to be willing to be patient with him. I got him at 1.07 and was thrilled, but not expect too much out of him until next year at the earliest and likely year 3.

Re: Mid-way through my first dynasty draft..

Agreed, a little too heavy on young talent for my liking, but it could work out. Generally, I try to focus on relatively young, yet still proven talent in the first 4-5 rounds of a startup before looking too closely at rookies (although, there are the exceptions). It's usually around rounds 5-6 wher...

Re: Best rookie RB after the top 4

I'd trade the 1.06 and go RB with each of your top 3 picks. I realize in the minority here, but my RB order would be:

Perine
Hunt
Foreman
Joe Williams
Kamara
Wayne Gallman
Jamaal Wiliams
Aaron Jones
Mack
McNichols

Re: Draft Trade?

I haven't seen Ross drop out of the 1st (maybe early 2nd), though I haven't paid as close attention lately since my rookie draft wrapped. Either way, I'm not as high on Ross as some and would prefer to go TE in the mid-late 1st.

I don't think I would move the pick. Trubisky, Mahomes and Engram are all good values at this point. I would go Trubisky.

Re: Mike ingram offer

I'm skeptical of Ingram this year and wouldn't be willing to pay very much, and certainly not TY. If there's anybody capable of stringing together a productive season or two at the end of their career when nobody expects it, it's AP. I wouldn't be a buyer on AP either, but I'm avoiding the situation...
