Rebuild Advice

I'm looking for some advice for the first team in my signature. We had a solid few years of contention a while back, but had a down year last year and haven't had some of the breaks we were hoping for yet this season either (thank you, AJ Green, Brandin Cooks, OJ Howard). It's time to go full rebuil...

Re: Brandon Cooks Value

I’m in the same boat. I knew coming into this year it would likely be a rebuilding year and he would be one asset I could flip for a 1st. Just hasn’t worked out that way. Bummer. I made a last minute offer for a late 1st, but guessing that gets turned down. I’ll hold and hope he regains some value n...

2020 Rookie Class

After some tough luck to start the year, I’m already starting to think ahead to next year. What is the early read on the draft class as a whole? Obviously, a lot can change between now and then, but is it expected to be deep? Heavy in any particular position? I started a new job over the summer and ...

Re: Who is going too late?

John Kelly. Everyone likes to preach about how situation should be used as a tiebreaker, not as a tier mover. But very few practice it. He went from a border line 1st rounder to a 4th rounder real quick when he got stuck behind Gurly. Just remember situations can change fast in the NFL. To me he’s ...

Re: Offer for M. Gordon

I wouldn't do this deal unless you are comfortable with TY being on your roster next season. I like the thought process, but there is no guarantee you willl be able to land a trade you're happy with. I'd hold out for more, but it's not a terrible offer.

Re: Nelson Agholor trade value?

As an Agholor owner, I was encouraged watching him this year and look forward to seeing what next year holds. I am in a similar boat however as I have a couple of tough calls coming up with roster cuts. I'm going to float him in offers to see if I can get something I'm happy with (maybe sneak into t...

Re: 2018 Rookie Draft Pick 1.1

It's pretty easily Barkley for me. I traded my 1st rounders for Jordy Nelson mid-season thinking that put my team into serious contention. Rodgers got injured less than 18 hours later and now I'm in the consolation. I have a very bad feeling I traded Barkley for Nelson and am kicking myself over it.

Re: Alshon deal

Agreed this is good deal for both Alshon and Wentz. How does this impact Agholor's value? He'll be on my roster bubble when roster's are trimmer pre-draft. Personally, I never expected him to be "the guy" in Philippe next year anyway, so I not sure it changes it much, but would love to hea...

Re: AP Assessment

I traded for him in two leagues this off season and have held him hoping he would become relevant. I think he looked good in his first game for the Cardinals against a good Buccs rush defense. I know people have been pointing out the absence of defensive players like Kwon Alexander and Lavonte Davi...

AP Assessment

What are people's thoughts on AP for the rest of the season given his recent performance? I was an AP believer all off-season, but completely changed my tune on him within a couple of weeks at the beginning of the year. I was just about to drop him when the trade to Arizona happened and decided to g...

Re: Acquiring Abdullah

I own Abdullah and have started to receive offers. It's hard with him because I believe in the talent, but it's been a frustrating ride so far. I'm trying to be patient, but I'd probably bite on a 1st. A lot depends on the team though.

Re: Would ya?

I agree with the crowd on this one, way to lopsided in it's current form. I'd try to find a team that's weak at WR and offer something like Dez and a 2018 1st for an established RB that still has some tread left on his tires. I'm not sure iyou'd be able to land Devante Freeman for that, but you migh...

Re: 1.1-1.3 for Julio Jones

I'd target Evans over Julio, but 2 1sts is fair value for either. I'd probably propose 1 2018 1st and a 2019 1st rather than 2 2018 1sts, but that's a matter of preference.
