Re: Future Rookie Salaries

12 team superflex. Our cap goes up 5% each year & salaries go up 20%. Our rookie salaries go up 20% every 5 years. We have a 5 round rookie draft. Here's the rookie draft salaries: The first draft selection (1.01) will have a salary of $30. The next two selections (1.02, 1.03) in the draft will ...

Re: Starting a salary cap league

Here's how I have it set up so the money ties together (MFL). - Under "Blind Bid Waiver Setup", select "Yes" for "Are Salary Cap Dollars & Blind Bidding Dollars Treated As One & The Same" - Under "General Auction Setup"; "Starting Auction Funds Av...

Re: Starting a salary cap league

I'll take a stab. :) 12 team, hard cap league. 1. We increase the cap 5% each year while player salaries increase 20%. I like that it gives an extra reward for finding guys cheap while also generating more turnover each year so the free agent auction isn't completely barren. 2. I don't have any insi...

Re: Starting a salary cap league

Definitely do an auction. We did our startup last year with an email auction & everyone loved it. We're going to go the same route for our free agent auction this summer.

Good luck!

Re: Budgeting advice

Great question. My startup auction with $500 hard cap is just ending.

I had hoped to save about 5% but I ended up spending $498. :wtf:

I'm hoping to swing a trade to free up some cap space but if I have to roll with this, I'll be fine. (I'll free up about $10 once I move some rookies to the TS)

Salaries for Dropped Players

I'm looking for some clarification on how to handle the salaries of dropped players. In a league I used to commish, any player that was dropped was available to be claimed on waivers, without bidding, based on inverse order of standings. Their current salary/contract status stayed with the player. I...

Re: What's your story?

i told my sister to turn on the game because my QB was playing (already hooked)- no cunningham. injured and out for the season. September 1, 1991 ... but only my 4th year of dynasty. I remember that vividly. He tore his PCL that day (the Dolphins also lost to the Bills  ) which is the same in...

Re: What's your story?

Hi! I've been playing fantasy football since 1992. My first year was rough, as I assumed that having a lot of Houston Oilers would help me thanks to the run & shoot. I learned quickly not to have too many players from the same team on your fantasy team. (I started Warren Moon, Lendale White, Ear...
