Re: Best Dynasty Decision You've Ever Made?

2014, the first year my group started dynasty and I foolishly sold Calvin Johnson in a deal for CPatt and picks.

Good news, a year later, Calvin retires and I could rest easy knowing he wouldn't haunt my team for years to come.

Bad news, as a fan, I enjoyed watching him play the game.

Re: Landing Spots for 2018 QB's

Tyrod : 14-14 Tannehill : 37-40 Dalton : 56-35, 0-4 in the playoffs Alex Smith : 79-56, 2-4 in the playoffs Flacco : 83-55, 10-5 in the playoffs (granted 4 of those wins came in the 2012/2013 playoffs, Superbowl) Sure your big question marks above are Tyrod and Tanny, but after seeing guys like Gof...

I think far too many people are sleeping on Jonnu Smith.

Re: Landing Spots for 2018 QB's

Teams with Aged QBs: Arizona (Gabbert and Stanton) Chargers (Literally no one behind Rivers) New Orleans (Grayson has been a Zero, Daniel was added this offseason) Giants (Webb) Steelers (Dobbs) Patriots (Maybe in the Market) Teams that could simply move on from their QB after this year: Jags Rams 4...

Re: Local Buzz

I could be completely wrong here but I felt that the few glimpses of Chargers' games that I watched, I swear I saw numerous balls get dropped/bounce off/deflect off of Tyrell that resulted in an interception or drive killer. Again, this may be isolated to only a time or two, as I can't say I'm watch...

Re: Hunter Henry

This was posted to a TE thread a little while back: "One statistical measure does seem to foreshadow a strong career: touchdown rate. Generally speaking, we were able to spot off the bat the handful of tight ends who were valued highly for their red zone ability – and those guys went on to strong NF...

Re: Local Buzz

I think some #Bears fans are going to be surprised just how far along Trubisky is, come Training Camp. Likely noticeably better than Glennon

Re: Critique my QB depth chart

Wilson and Dalton are more than capable starters and in 2QB leagues having 3 solid options is always best (shocker). Now, if one of them gets injured, I'd start to be a little concerned. Kessler played decently last year but couldn't stay healthy (concussions) and there is no telling how long his le...

Curious where Mahomes and Kizer were picked in your 2 Qb league. My 2 Qb league doesn't draft until later but i expect all 4 guys chosen by 2. 03 amd the first 3 all gone by about 1. 08.
1.08 Mahomes
3.05 Kizer

Cincinnati 2017 Offensive Outlook

Just wanted to gather some opinions here of Cincy and their offense this year: with letting Whitworth and Zeitler walk in FA and not addressing their OL in the draft (outside of Round 5), could their offense be in big trouble? Or are you still buying?

Re: Rookie Fever and Draft Questions

Without question, rookie fever/sensation is legitimate and it's a fun time for dynasty leagues. This past year, in my 2QB rebuild, I had 6 or 7 picks in the top 25 and instead of doing the right thing and possibly trading to my advantage....I opted to stand pat with a lot of my picks and I felt like...

Re: How to Recover From or Avoid 1st Round RB Busts?

Every website has their own RB model now. They're all interesting, and if there's a link between each formula, it's especially useful. However, an individual one still won't give you great results. Going strictly by this model, most people would have avoided Jordan Howard (.04 prediction). True, Ro...

Re: How to Recover From or Avoid 1st Round RB Busts?

Taking an RB is just risky business in general, especially with how easy they can be replaced/come down with injury. This past year I went with Kevin Cole's and Rotoviz's analysis on the RB position and because of it, I have been adding as many of these guys as possible. I don't scout RBs and their ...
