Re: 2024 Rookie Draft Strategies
Some semi-hot-ish takes: I'd rather take Jermaine Burton than Polk. (I don't think I'm going to be getting a lot of Polk) I'd rather gamble on Javon Baker's upside at his cost than Polk. I'd rather gamble on Jalen McMillan at his cost than Polk. I'm taking Jonathan Brooks over Ladd and Coleman. I’d...

Re: 2024 Rookie Draft Strategies
Well, my rookie drafts are over, and I got Penix and Benson on damn near every team. This will either go really right or really wrong. But I just couldn’t justify picking some wr that would have half the hit rate, just didn’t make any sense to me.

Re: 2024 Rookie Draft Strategies
Because this year is projected to be a deeper class at WR. Which increases the odds that the WRs picked in later rounds of this year's class will have a higher hit rate than prior years, due to being more talented. Hmm, I like your theory, but is that actually the case? I’d be interested to see if ...

I think every trade where I’ve packaged up for a stud has backfired.

Re: Puka Nacua
ok then. since you only picked the van jefferson part of my comment, might as well touch on the other two more important (as evidenced by being earlier in the paragraph) points, namely: - it's hard to determine to what point it's the coach and to what point is the player. - there are very very few ...

Re: Rashee Rice or Justyn Ross?
It helps with pain tolerance, that's a massive reason a lot of athletes in particular like it. (Ditto for Cancer patients) It can also aid you in sleeping like a rock, and helps some with anxiety and nausea. (and appetite) When the whole sport is about pushing your body past it's limits physically ...

Re: 2024 Off-Season Trades
Team C, I pulled the trigger Sold Aiyuk & Justin Herbert Got Justin Jefferson I understand it’s 1QB, but I think Aiyuk and JJ are close enough where I’d rather keep the Herbert side. Not saying they’ve been close in the past, but from this point moving forward I think they’ll be close enough to...

Re: You Should Be Up on Josh Downs
While there are still questions about what Anthony Richardson will be long-term. Downs quietly had a very good rookie season. I've been seeing posts saying to trade him and re-roll for WRs who aren't as good. I don't really agree with that even with them drafting Mitchell. I would gladly take my ch...

Re: The Curious Case of Keon Coleman
I have seen the interview videos, and Coleman seems to be a real nice young man, got his head on straight, and all. Just lacks athleticism, that's all. Not to nitpick, but the guy is very athletic. Maybe he lacks speed, is the wording you were looking for. Average jumping ability too according to v...

Re: Bryce Young
I posted this somewhere, I guess not here. On Reddit, some guy did an analysis on rookie Qb's, and those with a high sack percentage, and then secondarily, those with a low adjusted yards gained per pass attempt, are like 90%+ likely to be a bust. Young happens to meet both of those criteria. The 5...
