Re: Jerry Jeudy arrested

Key word for me so far is “misdemeanor”

I can’t claim any understanding of the charge and whether it precludes any physical threats or verbal abuse in the presence of a minor which could lead to more significant league discipline.

Re: Wild Card Weekend Discussion

I hope whoever wins on MNF gets the latest possible slot in the divisional round. I think that would be SNF, but not sure. If they have to turn around and play on Saturday then having MNF in the playoffs is some bush league profiteering on the NFLs part (again).

Re: 2022 Coaching Carousel

There is a macro issue around race in NFL leadership roles but that doesn’t preclude the Texans from doing whatever they believe to be in the best interest of their individual team (business) going forward. Shame for Culley, sure, but from my view its just business. They are not bound to keep him ju...

Re: What’s the Best Dynasty Advice You’ve Ever Received?

This applies more broadly than dynasty ff but having gotten frustrated by an "obviously lopsided" trade, a league member posted an oldie/goodie: The only true wisdom is knowing you know nothing. That lopsided trade swung around 180 degrees in less than a year and positioned the "idiot...

Re: Joe Burrow

Checking my SF league he finished QB5 in total points and QB9 in average points per game. Rostering him, I can say he carried me through the playoffs to a championship (along with Chase). Those couple of points established I'm inclined to agree that burrow appears to fit the mold of a dynamic passin...

Re: What is Saquons value like now?

For 2020 contenders his value drops, to the point where I might move him for any number high end anchor RBs that could fill the RB1 line on my lineup. Those RBs would need to be on bad teams/willing to sell, which might not be the case. For rebuilders, I don't think there is a big hit, probably stil...

Re: Rookie stock watch

Cephus looked like he belongs on the field. Someone just needs to remind Stafford that he’s 6’-01” not 6’-10”. I agree on Cephus; pressed into duty W1 without a normal offseason and he looked like he belonged. He even looked bigger than his listed size, just not 6'10"! Stats aside, a promising...

Re: If Brady falters in T.B?

You poke the goat in the button and the horns are going to come out. Honestly though this a majority on TB. The INT where Evans stops was on Evans and miscommunication. But, the INT on the shoulder of Watson wasn't even close to where it should've been. A few other errant passes that were nowhere n...

Buy on the Dillon dip with an eye toward a steady role as a pass catcher, even lining up in the slot with Dillon in the backfield

Re: Kyler Murray/Joe Burrow

I prefer Kyler, both as prospects and also as dynasty assets. Prospect-wise I got wow moments watching Kyler, often displays of athleticism or arm talent, that I believed would translate to the NFL quickly and effectively. I think they mostly did and he acquitted himself well in his rookie year. As ...

Re: Mizelle Rookie Rankings Page

They also voted Tua over him, Tua's lowest grade (at time of my post anyway) was 7th. It's true it won't really matter, but why participate if you're going to put in crap like that? Even any Burrow haters/skeptics would take him long before that just for resell value. I'm not sure how you determine...

Re: Do you find trading up worth it

That said trading down has also worked out for me more often than not, so the key is probably good player evaluation and good assessment of how your league values draft picks/prospects. If you can find inefficiencies in either one of those areas with a degree of consistency then trading might just w...
