Re: 2024 Free Agency
I saw exactly what I did. You just proved my point. The excuses that works for the others never get reasonably applied to Tua. Here's a fun exercise. Go back and review how many games Tua, Herbert, and Burrows have each missed over the past three seasons. REALLY, not sure what you're on about. I co...

Re: 2024 Bad Trade Offers
Give: ETN + 3.06 Get: Aaron Rodgers I need a QB in the SF league, but man, in what world is Rodgers worth more than a song. In the world of fantasy managers who believe he's the real-world QB that can lead the New York Jets to success. Many people apparently feel Rodgers would have been a fantasy s...

Re: 2024 Free Agency
That a lot for 6-8 games Trading for Aaron Rodgers might just have been the most stupid thing the Jets have ever done. Too old and too done. The Jets had better options? What were they? Rodgers got hurt last year, that sucked. He is old, but has a fantastic arm and one of the few QBs that can overc...

Re: 2024 Free Agency
Jameis Winston was QB 2 or 3 in 2019 and a backup the next season and has been mostly irrelevant since then.

That and the Jets have to pay 80% of his 2024 salary.

Re: 2024 Free Agency
I feel like the only reason Ridley wouldn't have signed by now is if he and the Jags have an agreement in place but are waiting until this afternoon to sign so they only give ATL a 3rd. Shady, but smart if it works out. Kirk, Ridley, and Gabe, with Engram at TE and a better OL, maybe there's reason...

Re: Where does Justin Jefferson play 2025?
If a team is going to make a big trade for Jefferson and pay a WR top dollar, it will be a team with a QB on a rookie contract. Like Miami did with Tyreek Hill during Tua's 3rd season. In 2025, the year 3 QBs will be rom the 2023 draft. Bryce Young, Stroud and Will Levis. The 2022 draft does not hav...

Re: Aidan O'Connell: The Man, The Myth, The Legend
We dont know what the Bears asking price was for Fields. If it was a second, I can see why everyone has passed. If the Raiders are rebuilding, why trade a 2nd for 1 year of Fields. If any team was planning to trade for Fields to start, they'd have to figure out a multi year contract first, otherwise...

Re: Super Bowl Thread
I'm all for playing games outside, in the elements, even in the a Winter But playing a night game in a cold city in sub zero weather is beyond ridiculous. Specially when you consider the NFL only did it because Paramount bought a playoff game and the NFL wanted to give the online streaming good rati...

Re: Super Bowl Thread
Was reading an article this morning about multiple Chiefs fans needing amputations of fingers or toes after the frigid playoff game they played against the Dolphins. Doctors say more could be forthcoming depending on how these people recover. Wonder if that might get the NFL thinking about playing ...

Re: 2024 Off-Season Trades
Smith-Njigba's 6.1 aDOT was outside the top 90 at wide receiver. I'd take the 1.08 and maybe any 1st this year depending on NFL draft results. JSN may be decent, but he is not an elite prospect.

Re: Is Skyy Moore droppable?
I'm holding him in a 25 man roster, 12 team league. If he has any talent, that fantasy folks and KC believed he had, KC will want to try and get something out of him. I believe he played as an outside WR in 2023 where he can't succeed. If they move him to the slot and he improves on his route runnin...

Re: 2024 Combine
James Cook is an example where the fantasy community laughed at his draft capital and said he didn't deserve it. The reality was Buffalo valued him and intended to use him, to the tune of RB11 finish in 2023. And dare I say, looked very deserving of the draft capital that 1 team gave him.

Re: 2024 Free Agency
Bought out in Denver. Signed to minimum contract in NY to back up. Starting for Jets by week 5 after ARod goes down again. That's an interesting way of saying "Cut by the team"  Yeah, but if they're going to pay me $90M to ask me to leave, that's the best kind of being cut. Tha...

Re: Russell Wilson Discussion Thread - Split with Seahawks?
Kind of interesting to ponder what Denver must be thinking with news of Wilson's impending release. Those dead cap hits for the next 3 years are going to make it difficult for the team to add in free agency, or give out extensions to any players they might want to keep around. I know some will say ...
