Re: Most Volatile Pre-draft Value

Detroit RB's.

I get the vibe that their management is dead serious about getting a trustworthy RB.

Re: Corey Davis concerns?

He has the tools and skills to be very good if he's healthy. I think he's a good buy right now. As far as scheme goes, the Titans have a new OC in LaFleur who's worked with Atlanta and the Rams the past few years. So, while I wouldn't expect them to set the world on fire, I don't think you can use h...

Re: Josh Allen

FWIW, if I were an NFL GM, I would probably take Rosen first (although, I’d be really worried his concussions). Of the other top 5 QBs: Darnold’s turnovers and regression in 2017 are concerning, Allen obviously has the accuracy issues, Jackson has comparable accuracy issues to Allen, and Mayfield i...

Re: Sell me on Calvin Ridley

Ageists were also against Michael Thomas and that didn't work out well for them. Its not just age. Thomas is 6'3" and 212lbs and above average across the board. Ridley is tiny in comparison, non explosive in comparison, and Thomas landed in the perfect situation. Truthers want to justify old age......

Re: Josh Allen

You're either going to regret passing on Allen or take a huge sigh of relief that you did pass on him. I don't see an in between. He is whatever an organization wants to make him at the QB position. So, a large part of his success will be about the coaching personnel around him. If he went to somewh...

Man, in the off-season people will talk about anything.

I feel like I should go make bump the Brian Quick thread.

Re: Are you OK with having players retire on your team?

I'm fine with it. You can't turn everyone into value. It's even tougher when a player is helping you win like Brady or Fitz. They're too old to have significant dynasty value, so you're better off keeping them in your lineup and winning games.

You wrote multiple paragraphs on Treadwell. That's enough to tell me there's more of a market for him than I thought.
That, or it's an attempt to create value for him in a league.

Re: Why you should buy Treadwell

As someone who touted Treadwell pre-draft, I think it's over for him. His journey is playing out in the way of Cody Latimer. Fans of Latimer insisted that the coaching staff was to blame and Latimer just needed the chance, but he never got the chance. Eventually, you figure out that he's just not th...

Re: Which team will throw the biggest draft curveball?!?!

Dolphins move up for a QB in the 1st round. I'm not sure that's a curveball though, given that they've worked out a few QB's already.

Re: The official 2018 Plant Your Flag thread

I really like DaeSan Hamilton. I'm interested to where he's picked in a few weeks. Route tree is advanced, creates separation at will, gets good releases off the line, explosive, big play ability...If you're not that high on Calvin Ridley, Hamilton might be a cheap doppleganger to target later in ro...

Sounds like he might have a wink-wink deal with the Redskins or Eagles already.

Re: Poll: Derrick Henry or 1.05 non-PPR

This isn't close for me. Henry's potential in a non-PPR league is a lot bigger than whatever you're getting at 1.05.

Re: Sell me on Calvin Ridley

I think Ridley has a high floor; you know what you're getting out of him to some degree. He runs really good routes, sharp cuts in and out of his breaks, can make corners look absolutely stupid if they give him space, catches well on the move and he can play around the formation. I don't see him as ...
