Re: 2024 Free Agency

NFL GM's would be wise not to pay top of the market contracts to QBs that have a piss poor first playoff game. They should call it the Kyle Murray rule. With Tua, he not only needs to show he can win, or at least not suck, in the playoffs, he needs to show he can stay healthy. He was healthy last y...

Re: Eric Gray

Ideally, wait a year for the RB they draft next year.

Singletary is average, but I think his experience playing for Daboll before will keep him on the field a lot.

Re: 2024 OTA's/Training Camp Thread

IMHO - the fix would be to get rid of the franchise tag. It doesn't make the overall product better for the fans. The original intent was to retain true "face of the franchise" type guys. That would and does matter to fans. Now it's just a club to beat guys up before negotiations. But I d...

Re: Bryce Young

This is probably a scorching hot take, but the Panthers this year really remind me of the Rams the year McVay took over. Now, it's not 1:1, but you've got a #1 pick QB who struggled playing for a pretty bad coach, who now is playing for someone that seems an awful lot like an offensive mastermind. ...

Re: 2024 OTA's/Training Camp Thread

Higgins probably plays out on the tag and gets overpaid by some team like Carolina next year.

Good deal for Houston with Collins. They have a franchise QB and a young, great pass rusher on rookie deals. Gotta load up while you can and see if you can contend.

Re: Somewhat early 2024 Draft thread

In my humble opinion this doesn't matter at all in dynasty. I draft talent, not situations not handcuffs. He's gone undrafted in all my leagues, though I do see a very vocal pocket beating the drum for him. Huh. I'm a little surprised. Maybe he could be the next Pacheco, but it's not too surprising...

Re: Somewhat early 2024 Draft thread

Where are you all seeing Kimani Vidal go in your drafts? ---- I have Gus Edwards in this league. RB Premium 1 QB—he went 2.07. In my Superflex leagues he went 3.08 and 3.10. His ADP on MFL is 30 (3.06). Thoughts? In my humble opinion this doesn't matter at all in dynasty. I draft talent, not situat...

Re: 2024 OTA's/Training Camp Thread

Sorry to mess up this thread. My position is that we’re members of this board to share opinions snd information about NFL players . It doesn’t matter if that’s in February, during the Combine and Pro Days, in OTAs, PS, or TC ot midseason. If I’m wrong, please let me know and I’ll stop. Saying somet...

Re: 2024 OTA's/Training Camp Thread

Holy crap. Seriously? People at a FF board are getting their panties tied in knots because someone is reporting football news? FF, please delete your thread. News from OTAs is upsetting the delicate constitutions of some of our members here. We need to make certain we don’t upset them and use their...

Re: Not at all early 2025 Draft thread

I’d also like to note we’ve been pretty spoiled lately. Although we more than likely won’t have a saquon, Zeke, or bijan level prospect who gets insane draft capital (never know for sure), we could still get an rb drafted in the first to a solid landing spot (like Dallas perhaps) and a couple early...

Re: 2024 OTA's/Training Camp Thread

I think it's possible that we'd all be better at FF if we ignored everything that happens b/w the draft and week one. There are useful things pertaining to how players may be schemed in an offense that can give you an edge. By all means, nothing's stopping anyone from dipping out for a bit and catc...

Re: 2024 OTA's/Training Camp Thread

These are 7 on 7 drills and hats & tees practices. It’s a QB’s amusement park. You don’t see any of the other rookie QBs in these same situations unable to complete passes. I guess we’re just going to get subjected to all sorts of excuse making. If you're in a dynasty league that scoring OTAs, ...

Re: 2024 OTA's/Training Camp Thread

He's also a rookie QB who's a month into a new offense that's also without two major additions. Struggles should happen. Sure. But 3 completions in a full 7-on-7 period... that is... quite bad  Holding the ball too long is one area I had an actual slight concern with for CW. He's simply not go...
