Re: Quentin Johnston is the new MikeEvans/

I’m on team #NeverTCUWRs

Totally fine missing on the next one until someone proves they can actually perform in the pro’s.

Re: 2024 OTA's/Training Camp Thread

What is hard is cutting through the noise. I remember Michael Thomas being a mid/late 1st pick prior to the preseason… then he went and balled out. He was taken 1.02 in one of the leagues I was in and I thought ‘reach’. It was ME who ended up wrong on that one. 95% (probably more) of what is put out...

Re: Not at all early 2025 Draft thread

It’s all speculative right now while we wait on 2025. I can confidently say there will be three rookies that come in as a top 10 back. Outside of Bijan, Gibbs, and hall, the rest can easily be dethroned depending on landing spot. While this might be over-stated a bit, the sentiment is right. And it...

X3, good trade. These are the type I always try to do. If you can stack future draft capital it always pays off.

Re: Not at all early 2025 Draft thread

forgot to mention: we can only draft 2024 and 2025 eligible players This makes a lot more sense now lol context is everything in this game, especially once you get into Devy yeah i agree! it's one of my problem! start a story! but it only has a beginning and an end loll. missing some parts of it as...

Re: You Should Be Up on Josh Downs

Agreed with you Ant. Unfortunately he’s in the tier of players who COULD theoretically be a difference maker if he was in an offense that featured him more and/or had more passing volume (like Addison?), but that’s not happening until a second contract. I could see him in the mold of Elijah Moore (b...

Re: Puka Nacua

Conventional might be the wrong word. But, in the sense that you can't just line these players up at the X and get comparable results anywhere else. gotcha. hard to know where the line between player's skill and system is though. and players that can be lined up as the X and get comparable results ...

Re: Quentin Johnston is the new MikeEvans/

SO SO SO glad I sold for what turned out to be the 2.02. Would gladly re-roll on any WR going in that range in SF over him at this point (although I took Penix instead).

Re: Somewhat early 2024 Draft thread

Doing some mocks, who do you like in these situations— Davis BUF RB or Estime DEN RB Polk NEP WR or Corley NYJ WR Estime and Polk for me. Estime and Polk for me. I think it's 50-50 on if DEN brings Javante back given the state of their roster (so many holes and needs for cap space), and he'll likel...

Re: Discussion: How egregious does a trade need to be before you support a veto?

I saw a trade making the rounds on twitter today, asking this same question. I'm team #NeverVeto, but was a bit perplexed by this one. The trade was: Team A: 1.03+ AJB Team B: 1.02 + Daniel Jones + Hubbard + Bigsby + Renfrow The context was that there were two orphan teams. They found a manager and...

Re: Discussion: How egregious does a trade need to be before you support a veto?

A couple suggestions: Regarding running teams into the ground and then leaving... that's why you make owners pay a year ahead in dues (or as far out as they are trading draft picks). There's a pretty large population of people who enjoy taking a team and trying to bring it back to relevance... espec...

Re: 2024 Off-Season Trades

I agree in terms of Aiyuk’s talent - I think in a great situation he absolutely would be putting up Diggs type numbers, if not JJ or Chase even. That being said, because of my strong belief in Aiyuk I own him in literally almost every single league I have, so divesting from him in one league felt r...

Re: 2024 Off-Season Trades

Way too rich for me Is it start 1 WR, zero flex? Nobody's moving Lamb, Chase or Jefferson without a premium and I could afford to pay it. I wanted to move some depth (Olave wouldn't have started for me), and I really like the idea of pairing Lamb with Chase and ARSB. Might not make sense for a lot ...

Re: You Should Be Up on Josh Downs

Downs Someone I'd be happy to hold, but unwilling to pay much to acquire. One of three dozen very talented real world NFL WRs who are not in a situation that will allow them to be reliable fantasy high-volume producers. I'm probably selling for an early 2nd, holding over a late 2nd. Not buying for ...

League for team E He was taken at pick 1.07 in a 14T SF league, with required start 2 TE 😳 Ahead of Drake Maye, McCarthy, Nix, & Pennix Ahead of all skill position players other than Bowers & the big 3 at WR. Wow… Is trading not allowed in that league? Because he could have traded back abou...
