Start 1 RB Strategy
I have always recommended going WR heavy early on in dynasty start ups (usually avoiding RB until Round 4+). Get your studs and they produce for years to come. However, recently I have been thinking that if you are in a start 1 RB league, do you get a stud RB and lock up that position for 15 weeks o...

Re: Rebuild Strategy
I've been looking at my 12 team leagues too much and expecting more depth. Like I said, this is the league I really want to win so I'm perhaps overthinking things. Thanks folks.

Re: Rebuild Strategy
I'd wait to see how your season starts to shake out before making the decision to rebuild. You have to assess if you are a playoff team or not. If you're scoring in the bottom half of your league and are say 2-5, then you might want to consider a rebuilding strategy if the playoffs seem unlikely. T...

Re: Rebuild Strategy
Thanks for raising my spirits. I got offered the 1.14 for Reed then my optimistic counter of 2014 and 2015 1st's was rejected. Jared Cook is the only relevant TE on his roster which is something I'm definitely not interested in. what picks do you own in the draft? depending on where your sitting wi...

Re: Rebuild Strategy
do you lack depth???? yes. but you are by no means in need of selling off guys. other than charles, you have the young pieces that a rebuild team is looking for anyways. the only moves that you should be looking to make are moving your non starters for draft picks. the reality is that your non star...

Rebuild Strategy
I'm strongly considering a rebuild project in my most important league. I reached the Conference Championship last year and had duped myself into thinking I was ready for a title shot. I just received a trade offer for Jordan Reed which has sparked a long hard look at my roster. 16 team, PPR, start ...

Re: 2014 Bold Predictions
Montee Ball is benched by Week 8 and destined for fantasy irrelevance.
Rod Streater is a top 30 WR.
Mark Ingram is startable.
Julio Jones is the WR1.

Re: Summer 2014, Buys and Sells.
Buy: DeMarco Murray - he will always be available because of his injury concerns but when he plays, he's a top 5 PPR back IMO. Linehan's offense is only going to make him better too. Sell: Zac Stacy - he's not a special back and I believe benefitted from volume last year. This means his job is alway...

Top 5 WR's
Now that Josh Gordon has been a naughty boy, the Dynasty landscape has 5 clear tier 1 WR's. ADP has them listed in the order... Calvin Johnson (29) AJ Green (26) Dez Bryant (26) Julio Jones (25) Demaryius Thomas (26) I want to hear what order you think the top 5 should be. Maybe you have Megatron at...

Re: 2014 Better WR career
My only issue with Latimer is that Demaryius is the man there and most teams don't really support two top fantasy WR's. Latimer isn't going to pass up Demaryius on the depth chart, so at best he'll be playing second fiddle, and most times that doesn't pan out well for fantasy Worked out pretty well...

Re: Food for thought
Vincent Jackson is a great example. Brandon marshall is an outstanding example. their are several more but im sure you will come up with some excuse for them as well but yeah im done here. talent will always come thru no matter the qb. just like demaryius Thomas was showing he would be big time bef...

Re: Food for thought
Josh Gordon. I think scheme fit is important for an early impact but long term I think talent always prevails regardless of QB, to an extent (Larry Fitzgerald in 2012). I like Brandin Cooks impact from his rookie season because of the scheme he is going into - he has a clear role in the offense alr...
