I'd say neither pretender nor contender. I think you're squarely in the middle. You do have elite options at TE & WR, but it looks like a committee at QB and no RB1. However, this team is young so the arrow is pointing up. I'd hope you get lucky and make the playoffs, but I wouldn't mortgage you...

I’d ask for more. If I owned Howard I’d be looking to sell before new staff decides they want to draft a shiny new toy. Bears fan here. I think this is highly unlikely. RB is one of the few positions in which they're set. Much more likely to use premium draft assets at WR, CB, OL, & pass rusher.
