Re: All in with this years RBs?

Depends. By value and roster, yes, great deal. But, you'd lose any capital that you have to make a move in-season to fill in your roster due to injuries, etc. And you can often get pretty good players in-season for a single first-round pick and top-end players for two... It's all about how you appro...

Re: OTC superflex 1 pt ppr

Best player? Ingram. Easily. Highest upside (and biggest gamble)? Jones. I'd have no interest here in any other player on the list. If you're looking for the potential golden ticket, then it's Jones. But, I wouldn't pass over Ingram to take him. If you're more of an all-or-nothing type owner, though...

Re: 1.07, 1.09+ for 1.05, 19 first

I'd probably do it but not for the reason that you mentioned. You have a smaller league in terms of starting line-ups -- studs are key. Getting yet a 5th first-round pick in 2019 should give you the ammo to acquire one or even two studs via draft and/or trade. So, yeah, I'd make the trade but more f...

Re: Opinions on team

IMO, no reason to rush to acquire a RB. When you have a team primed to compete, you have no idea what might derail you. Maybe one of your top WRs goes down in the pre-season. Or maybe Collins surprises and improves on last year's numbers while Chubb gets 65% of the carries. At this point, it looks l...

Re: SF 0.5ppr 10 team Rookie Draft Completed + Blockbuster

Forgetting whether or not I believe that the trade was good value, I'm not sure how this trade helps you in 2019. You trade away two players who have proven something in the NFL in Hill and CMC for unproven rookies and future picks. As much as I love the acquisition of Henry, you already have Howard...

Re: Dak for Brady+?

Absolutely not. Selling your future for a rental QB and a non-elite RB is a move that you make if/when necessary, not in June.

Re: Contender Planning for the Future

In your situation, I ALWAYS look to sell players who would never (or rarely) start for me for future picks. Always. 1) It gives you a couple of roster spots for in-season moves and to take flyers on guys who could be homeruns. 2) It gives you ammo to make in-season trades to overcome injuries or dow...

I wouldn't move Bortles for Michel + a 1st let alone the offers presented to you.

Re: League scoring change timing question

I'd absolutely default to waiting one year. 70% isn't that much.

That being said, I'd check in privately with the 30% to see if waiting is their preference but not a big deal or if it's a big deal. If they don't really care, then you can do it this year.

I GIVE: 1.12, 2.01 & 4.01
I GET: 1.02, 3.03 & 9.03
Snap accept.

I would most defiantly use the pick at 1.02 to draft Guice.
Way to fight the power! :)

Re: Stay the Course, Blow it up, or What?

It's clearly a rebuild, IMO. Your starting QBs are solid, but closer to above average than elite. And your back-up QBs are unknowns. Obviously, your RB stable is incredibly weak. Behind OBJ and Cooks (who is really a WR2, not a WR1), you have little that's reliable. Howard and Rudolph are good. But,...

Re: Trade asking for my 3 future fursts

I think that this is the big problem with your approach: I'm in the middle of a rebuild but still want to make the playoffs/remain competitive. Once you reconcile that, then you'll see what everyone else here is seeing. If you do want to target Parker specifically (and I'd have no problem with that)...

Re: Rookie Draft in Transitional League

I'd treat it closer to SF than standard. 1) Rookie QBs usually take a couple of years to hit their stride anyway. So, you draft a rookie QB usually looking a couple of years ahead. 2) I'm guessing that many will still look at this draft in a more standard way. You can scoop up TONS of future QB valu...

Re: Another Contender/Pretender (with a twist)

1. In general, my goal is to get to the championship game. At that point, you can't lose. So, I tend to ask myself if my team can make it to that game, not if my team is is likely to win the 'ship. I don't like targeting the playoffs with an anything-can-happen mindset. A bubble team rarely gets any...

Is this for the team in your signature? How many teams in the league?
