Re: 2024 Rookie Draft Strategies

I'll set my board, fall in love with a few guys and hope they slide to me. I'll also blow on the dice and pray to the fantasy football gods. If all goes well. And how can it not. I will print up an A+ FF draft grade flag and fly it proudly.  Probably the most honest answer here ever! :)

I would accept this offer as quickly as possible. You're easily getting the most valuable pieces.

SMASH accept. IMO, having future draft capital is best way to extend a competitive window.

Re: Draft over: Keep building or try to compete?

My gut is to keep building. Given the deep lineups, your starting multiple rookies this year. Hard to have a realistic championship team relying on so many right out of the gate. You always buy in-season if you're off to a strong start.

Re: 2024 Off-Season Trades

I believe he can use that money to buy rookies Exactly. Plus veterans whose contracts expired. Lawrence and Bijan were both overpriced for 2024 and were, based on previous years auctions, fairly priced for 2025+. I lose the talent but gain the cap space to replace it. Plus, in this league, you can ...

Seems like an easy yes to me in a Devy league.

Re: 2024 Off-Season Trades

For Team 2 in Sig, which is a contract and salary league. TRADE 1 Gave: Bijan Robinson ($54 this year, $34 in 2025) Got: Elijah Moore (costs $5 to drop this year) and held $4 of Robinson's salary this year only. TRADE 2 Gave: Trevor Lawrence ($76 this year, $51 through 2026), Tony Pollard ($1 throu...

Re: Compete This Year or Gear Up For Next?

I'm not sure you need to do anything. Your team is young everywhere, so you can see how they develop in the first few weeks.

If you wanted to make any moves, trading Zamir makes sense. I'd also keep AJB on the block, too.

Re: Seems like a lot but I don't want it. Crazy?

I like the players on value. AND I'd hesitate making the trade without knowing if you have a plan for QB & TE. I think this trade makes your RBs and certainly your WRs championship level. But I'm not sure your QBs or TEs can support it.

It's still tough to turn down that value on players...

Re: Harrison v Bowers in big TEP

Honestly, given that format, Bowers over MJH isn't necessarily a poor choice. I wouldn't do it based on need. But, if you think Bowers is simply better player to draft given the settings, it's completely reasonable and legit.

Re: Trade Advice - SF 0.5 TE Prem for Bowers

Which side would you want in this trade - note we are up to the 1.12 in the draft. Give: Rashaad White, DK, Schultz, 2.09 & 2035 1st (mid) Get: Bowers, 2.01 (likely Ladd), 4.03, 4.09, McLaurin, Goedert. First, I don't put much value in picks that are 11 years out. As for the trade itself,...

Re: Kyren trade

If you're rebuilding, I'm cashing out. To everyone who's saying just trade Kyren in-season for more, we're ignoring the possibility that (a) he's not as productive as last year, and/or (b) he gets injured. If it's, say, Breece Hall or Bijan, then I'm holding out. Even an injury wouldn't completely t...

Re: 1.09 vs ‘25 1st

I guess I'll be that guy... EASILY the future pick for me. There might be 14ish players (give or take) with a first-round grade, but there are about 8 players in the Tier 1 group. I'm happily trading a pick outside that group for one likely to be worth much, much more next year. Yes, there's risk. T...

Re: Trade for Rachaad White?

Definite pass for me. 1) You don't know if R White is starting for you. You have 6 RBs each with different yet reasonable paths to meaningful playing time. Some are already the alpha on their team, and others have a path to get there. White would be another in the mix (closer to the alpha group, of ...
