Re: Dispersal Draft on MFL

I created a spreadsheet in Google drive. I split all of the available players up into positional columns and had columns for each owner participating. As each guy picked they would update the sheet using cut and paste. Each pick was announced in a seperate "GroupMe" group. I posted a link in the lea...

Re: Co-Managers

I manage a team with a buddy I've known for 30 years. We are very like minded. We can usually talk out any disagreement and after 3 years I'm still enjoying the experience. We talk about our team all the time, so in our 40's it gives us an excuse to talk shop. Usually if one of us starts the negotia...

Re: Editing a podcast

A couple of notes about the two DLF pods which might help answer some of your questions. All of our podcasters use Blue Yeti microphones. IMO they offer terrific sound and ease of use for the money. You definitely do not want to use a webcam mic or laptop mic. You will also want everyone using head...

Re: Editing a podcast

Got to wonder with some of my favorite dynasty pods, can definatly tell the difference from crappy laptop mics to professional mics, how many of these guys to the figure it out as you go approach and how many actually pay to do it in a clean and professional manner. Someday I'm going to try doing a ...

Editing a podcast

Specifically dynasty/fantasy podcasts, how long does it take to edit an 1 hour show? Who does the editing? Do you learn as you go? Do you pay someone? Any tips or tricks to share? Professional or free software? Just listen to a lot of ff podcasts and wonder.

Re: Using the groupme app in your league

Never used it, but may try rolling out to my Friends league. What do people typically use it for? Trash talk, Trade Block, general conversation? Isn't it simply a duplicate of the Chat on the league page? League chat can be cleared and after 20 messages have been said it's gone. With an app like th...

Using the groupme app in your league

I was introduced to it through a start-up this spring. What an excellent tool. Suppose any app that accomplishes the same thing will work. Great way to get to know league mates, push along drafts, and create trade talks. Wish I knew how to create a module for MFL to use the app on the homepage and e...

Re: What questions do you ask as commissioner of a new leagu

I googled an owners email and it showed me a bunch of 2013 dlf posts for startup 2014 leagues. I could find the link to the mfl page and when I changed from 2014 to 2015 page the league would be gone. Two leagues I saw that happen. One league he was the champion.

Re: What questions do you ask as commissioner of a new leagu

Just revisited your help wanted post and you did indeed post details, sorry about that. Not sure why, but as an owner scouting leagues, I like to see the website before I commit.

Re: New 32-team IDP league open!

How much? Can you post a link to the league? $50, as mentioned in the post above. If you are interested, go ahead and apply through the link provided; if we feel you'll be a good fit, we will send an invite into the league. However, we will not be posting the link directly to the league at this tim...

Re: What questions do you ask as commissioner of a new leagu

I saw your post in the help wanted. I think it helps to include some league details(simplified), cost, and a link if possible with the survey. Why fill out the survey if ultimately one of the factors aren't for me(or the person reading the post). I got into a 32 team league last year and the activit...

Re: Podcasts other than DLF, UTH & nerds?

I have an android and use beyondpod. Don't know how it compares to other but I liked the free version enough to buy the full. Think it was $6. Downloads pods to phone and allows playback speed adjustments.
