In my experience, teams that trade away an entire draft or two usually regret it and quit the league when they see that they have no way of adding new talent to their team, leaving a bag of poop for the new owner to deal with.

Think of every injury or suspension as an opportunity to buy. Last year in my rebuild I was able to trade lesser talents for Sammy Watkins and Keenan Allen, and pick up Martavis off the waiver wire.

The problem I run into when I do this is, I'll express my interest in a mid-range player... let's say Jeremy Maclin. I'll ask what pieces I have that they'd have interest in and the respond "I like Zeke, Evans, and Amari". Really dude? That doesn't help at all. Everyone loves those player...
