Re: Release the Guice!

Next few weeks are crucial for Guice in dynasty, in my opinion. Regardless of how his touches are split with the other backs, Guice needs to ball out with whatever he's given to discourage Synder from taking another RB on Day 1 or 2. Odds are stacked against Guice, running behind a bad O-line, with ...

To be fair, if it weren't, the average human lifespan would be around 30-40 years.

Re: Keke Coutee - what did thou ever do to thee?

I just wish OB would quit the Belichick impression and tell everyone what Coutee did. Why? What would OB gain by blasting Coutee in public? I think there's a gap between "polite explanation" and "public blasting." Regardless, OB's approach to whatever's going on is both childish...

Re: Ty (the other) Johnson

Presently, McKissic objectively deserves more snaps and touches than Ty, and it's not close. Even aside from the obvious efficiency metrics, McKissic's PFF grade is twenty points higher than Ty's, so Ty isn't even doing off-the-ball elements of the job like pass-protection better than JD.

Re: Tyler Lockett had possibly the most efficient season in NFL history.

Looking at the remainder of his matchup schedule, Lockett has a legitimate chance to maintain his pace stats and finish with 1300ish yards receiving, 90-100 receptions. The two tilts against SF hurt, but the rest of the matchups are green-lights. Y'all see the 'news' that Tyler's still a virgin? Dud...

Re: Donte Moncrief.

Evidently, Crief just doesn't have the mental fortitude -- or something along those lines -- to be a successful pro. Pittsburgh practically gave him the opportunity for career renaissance on a silver platter, and he took that platter in hand and immediately pratfell with it like a circus clown. Mild...

Re: Cooper Kupp is a WR1

Considering Adams' struggles this year, that characterization doesn't make sense to me. Adams is a buy-low right now relative to what his pricetag was before the '19 season started. There exist leagues in which the Adams owner is worrying that his '18 season will end up a one-year wonder, and will b...

Re: My Favourite Story line of the year: Cam is done

It's not a media driven farce; Newton's athletic mobility has always been the key element to his game. Now he's on the wrong side of 30 and dealing with persistent injuries. What is he, without his legs? Just a mediocre passer, one that has always had bad analytics on passing downs under pressure, e...

Re: Let's talk... Bryce Love

Thoughts: - There were already reports since early this year that Love is in danger of having permanent stiffness in his knee. That was before this second surgery. This is Marcus Lattimore all over again. Love being on a dynasty roster at all is questionable use of a bench spot. He's worse than a lo...

Re: Cooper Kupp is a WR1

I don't think Cooper Kupp would make any Top 10 WR lists right now. Not any ? No. He'd make a few. The bold hot-takers, the believers hoping to be able to say " I saw it coming!". There's always a few in every field of pundits. It's not as if what Kupp's doing right now is a total shock. ...

Re: Cooper Kupp is a WR1

How often is there a consensus #1 overall WR? There's always a handful of super elite, and debate between them. Is it possible Kupp enters that conversation at some point? Sure. Anyone declaring otherwise has a short memory; there was a time when people had the same skepticisim at the early breakout...

Re: Release the guice

Rap claiming Peterson will be inactive today. If so, Guice has to be considered at least an RB2, even in today's bad matchup. He should be in play for 20 touches if AP is truly not dressing. Skins will need to run the ball as much as they can, both for ball-control and bc they simply don't have the ...

Re: Houston running backs.

I suppose I'll start Duke. It helps that Coutee has gotten the Questionable tag, and may be limited even if he is active; seems to me Duke is more than that capable of flexing out into the slot and getting some of Coutee's targets. Call it a gut feeling, but I actually think Buddy Howell gets some c...

Re: Release the guice

Guice runs angrier than Barkley, and pairs it with similar breakaway ability at the second level. But I agree completely with the above post -- it can't be understated how valuable it is that Barkley basically has slot-receiver hands and movement in a bellcow feature-back body. Barkley is the hyper ...
