Re: Is it over for Alex Collins?

Replaceable two-down back. Sadly for Collins and the RB position in general, this is it. And looking back through the pro annals from even before RB became devalued in the real NFL, one or two season wonders from now no-name RBs have been commonplace. I don't fault those of you that gambled on Coll...

Re: Why do you play dynasty?

Why do you play dynasty? Because some friends asked me to. Now I continue doing it because dopamine reward from making correct predictions is a scientific fact. Because putting time and work into building my team consistently results in dominating, crushing and anialating my opponents. That is all....

Re: Fournette vs Chubb

Like most of you I'm sure, I now lack confidence in Fournette's ability to both stay healthy and effective for an entire season (I do like him as a buy-low candidate right now, tho).

Re: How do you know a dynasty league will last?

I actually have to disagree with ninotoreS in that. I think in this day & age communication tools make it much easier for owners around the world to participate in a league together. Absolutely, but that wasn't my point really. I'm saying I think people in a dynasty league need to have some other c...

Re: How do you know a dynasty league will last?

If the league has at least a core of people who know each other in real life, with relationships independent of fantasy football.

All bets are off with any other sort of league comprised of internet strangers. I think 99% of leagues like that will go defunct within a decade of founding.

Doh. I had this slippery feeling in my brain I was forgetting another recent West, but couldn't remember who exactly.

Re: Damien Williams - convince me

West Charcandrick? He never made it to major offseason value. Fair enough with your other examples. RB is fantasy's most volatile position, ofc. The potential rewards are often worth the risk, though! And you just listed off a bunch players that are sub level receivers. West is a great receiver. Re...

Re: Players That Are "Being Held Back?"

Dallas Goedert. Although it's nobody's fault. Ertz deserves to be ahead of him on the depth-chart, and no NFL offense has produced two fantasy TE1s since the Pats did it for one season eight years ago. John Brown. Although last year was the first time it wasn't his own fault (health). Duke Johnson. ...

Re: Ross value?

It's now for sure less than it was in his rookie-draft. It's nice to see that he's scoring in the red-zone so often since he also did that at Washington, but the rest of his game needs a ton of work, and Boyd's legitimate breakout on his depth-chart is a spanner thrown into the works. Dalton can bar...

Re: Breakouts for 2019?

Speaking of Godwin in '19, I think the Arians hire makes it more likely D-Jax is retained. Jackson is exactly the kind of WR Arians has liked to have in the past, and Jackson despite his age still graded out well last year.

Re: Buy Or Sell D'Onta Foreman?

That obviously depends on where he was drafted. My guess is that most Foreman shares were drafted in the mid-late 2nd through early 3rd #14th pick in the 2017 rookie-draft. Iirc, late 1st / early-2nd was about his ADP by the first week of August that year. I do recall claims of Foreman going as lat...

Re: Buy Or Sell D'Onta Foreman?

He's a fine buy if he's cheap enough. I think the owner in my league wants to pretend he's lost no value since he drafted him, though.

Re: Where will Keenum go?

There's no way they keep both going into camp. Eye up the cap numbers, you'll see. Note the cap has been increased for all teams this year. Everyone's been gifted extra space this offseason. Denvers WRs dropped more passes than any other team I believe. Pair that with a bad staff and some injuries ...

Re: Damien Williams - convince me

I think a dynasty roster that looks like a legit contender in '19 and isn't already stacked deep at RB should be tempted to keep Damien for next year for the chance he could be a top 5-10 fantasy RB for a season.

Everyone else should try to sell high.

Re: what are Hunt owners planning on doing?

Are we still calling it domestic violence/abuse, am I just wrong in calling assault? It was assault. Not domestic violence. The fact that the incident with video involved a girl is why people are (wrongly) calling it domestic violence, and why it has gotten so much attention. People don't understan...
