Re: Team RB or Team WR

also whats important is number of rb 1 or wr 1 weeks in a season. some times receivers tend to have a 10 -200 -2 tds, but also a 1 for 15.. rbs typically seem to be more stable on a week to week basis This is an important point. We play a weekly game, not a seasonal one. I never liked evaluating gu...

Re: Owners getting on your "no trade" list

I don't blacklist anyone, but there are definitely owners that I'm more likely to just flat reject with no counter. These are generally the owners that try to get one over on me, such as offering me a player just as news breaks in the hope I haven't seen it, or the guys that continually trash the ve...

Re: Your team's linchpin

In the DLFPL, it's DJ. I need him to be peak DJ. In my home league, I need Watson to keep being the Watson he was last year.

Re: Protocol to shift from 1QB to 2QB How many seasons of warning?

My home league transitioned from 1QB to Superflex in 2 years, and it seemed totally fair to me.

Re: Talk me off the ledge

Is this where we get to complain about our team's drafts? Other than Wynn, the Patriots draft was infuriating. They came in with two 1sts and two 2nds, and came away with a "tackle" that everyone else said was a guard, an undersized nickelback with tackling issues, and a RB they will undoubtedly und...

Re: 2018 NFL DRAFT

I own Sutton in devy and cringed at first at that landing spot, but yeah, perhaps it just means DT isn't there much longer

Re: Double and Triple-Headers

My main league does doubleheaders every week, and I dig it. Makes it so that even when I run into a 1-week buzzsaw, I still have a chance at a break-even. A kickass week gets you two wins instead of one. Yes, it does limit luck to a certain extent, but not to a large degree.

Re: 1.05 Who Do You Got?

Give me Sutton all day at 1.05. I'm obviously much higher on him than most around here, but I think his upside is high with his size and agility. His route-running is still on the raw side, so it will depend on his landing spot whether he's likely to reach the upside. If going RB, I take Jones there.

Re: Brandin Cooks Traded To Rams

Not sure why people keep pushing the narrative that Brady is bad at the deep ball. The league average on throws with a depth of target of 20+ was 25.4%. Brady hit 32.9%. Sure, he misses some deep balls. Pretty much every QB does, but he hits on them at a greater rate than most. Goff hits 32.6% on d...

I'm calling my shot right now. Richie James will be good. Some NFL team will get him in the 5th, 6th or 7th round and make out like bandits.

Re: Are we mistaken in having rookie RBs ranked so high?

True - but isn't that 'just' rookie fever as always? Can't find the topic again, but remember to have seen something like Corey Davis for 1.03 or 1.04 judged fair by the posters in that topic... Yes he didn't have a great rookie season, but come on. [/b] Are you saying he should be worth more than ...

Re: How did the combine move your personal rankings/tiers?

As for the OP, I tend to be one of the guys that poo-poos the combine and try to mostly ignore it. My rankings may shift a spot or two at the margins, but it will remain largely unchanged. I trust my evals pre-combine and try to only let it break ties and reorder within tiers. That served me very ve...

Re: How did the combine move your personal rankings/tiers?

I'm heated because the combine moved up the players I was already high on. One guy that I had no interest in before that I'm definitely going to take a look at now is Josh Allen. As silly as it sounds, he indeed just LOOKS the part and now I understand where the 1st overall buzz comes from. I look ...

Re: 2018 NFL Combine Discussions

Scarbrough is killing it so far today, 40 vert, 10'9" broad, 4.52 is perfectly fine for how big he is. He's definitely thinned down a bit from last season.
