Interesting and makes sense. I want to see Trey Lance's numbers in this study From what I could tell he wouldn't qualify, as he only started and played meaningful games in his sophomore season. So no back-to-back comparisons. His junior year before coming out it appears he only played in one game.

I think when push comes to shove and people actually start making picks, the top 2 RBs will go much higher. Especially Brooks. There's just no way a 2nd round RB picked into a situation with a very obvious path to a lead or even feature back role in a draft where there are very few other good RB op...

Well, pick #225 in the 7th round. Guess the experts didn't think much of him. But at least going to the Chargers provides a landing spot with opportunity. At that point in the draft though, it might be more of a blessing to end up a UDFA so you could at least pick the spot where you want to sign.

Agree with the consensus here. He offered the trade, it was accepted. He waited two weeks and had buyer's remorse. That will teach him to think twice about the offers he makes before hitting "send". Lesson learned.
