Re: Rookie draft format

Last year was my first year to do a dynasty league and this will be my first rookie draft. Do y’all like to do the rookie draft as a snake draft or linear draft? A snake draft would be fairer but a linear would give the bottom teams more of an advantage Exactly why this is the way to do it. Your le...

Re: Is Njoku a sell?

I’m dumbfounded by this thread ... Njoku has improved each of his first two years ... he plays a position known to take a few years to learn ... last year he finally got a QB ... heading into next year, his offense will likely be top 2 or 3 in league .... yeah, definitely sell now before it’s too l...

Re: The Real Lamar Jackson Thread

Regarding those who say Baltimore should have inserted Flacco in the 2nd half. Flacco would not have been able to execute the game plan that they drew up for Jackson, due to his limited mobility. Had they attempted to do so, I doubt the Ravens would have had any more success offensively. Also, how m...

Re: How high to draft Rookie QBs

Most on here will tell you not to draft rookie QB's until late in the 2nd, or somewhere in the third round in start 1QB formats. However, it's important to know your league and how the other owners tend to run their squads. For example, the 2018 QB's went as follows in my 14-teamer: 1.05 - Rosen, 1....

Re: What to make of the AB situation?

Not sure where this will end up, but would assume that Brown is indeed back with the Steelers in 2019. But an element I'm keeping in mind is the fact that AB turns 31 this summer, and at some point the decline begins. If the drama continues, the likely outcome down the road is he becomes a T.O., Cha...

Re: Best Buys and Stashes 2019 edition!

Lol, thanks Problem! There's enough interesting points there that researching this guy could be worthwhile. I'll throw out another- Will Dissly. He was on waivers in quite a few of my leagues. Considering the TE position in general and this year in particular, worthy stash. Drop Crowell for Dissly?...

Re: Best Buys and Stashes 2019 edition!

Who would you guys fill your last bench/stash spot with. I think I'm leaning towards Cain but Cole is pretty talented too assuming the Jags upgrade their QB this off season. Keelan Cole Dion Cain Marcel Ateman Tim Patrick J'Mon Moore Daurice Fountain Kendrick Bourne Probably Cain over Cole. But tho...

Re: 2018 Coaching Changes

Sounds like Steve Wilks might get the axe after one. I never like to speculate on single season coaches, but there’s often one of them. Well, just for the mismanagement of his personnel alone he should be fired. I get that they've got a rookie QB, but David Johnson was a pretty good pass catching R...

Re: Playoff Debacle

Yeah, it's a terrible way to miss the playoffs. But no need to correct something that just happened as part of the game. it is what it is, though we can all understand why that owner would be salty about it. Last year after winning my Week 13 game by a point, I was in the playoffs. Then on Wednesday...

Re: Kenneth Dixon

I'd had him stashed in case he came off the IR. But then last week before the Ravens activated him, I ended up cutting ties to pick up Justin Jackson (Dixon was promptly claimed by another squad). I believe he'll see touches heading down the stretch and into the playoffs if Baltimore makes a run. Bu...

Re: Tie break dilemma

We always use total points after record for the first tie breaker. That way, you don't have to account for scheduling inequities. I'd switch to total points as tie breaker #1 for 2019 followed by H2H as tiebreaker #2. Besides, everyone has a bad week now and then. It would stink to have a superior t...

Re: Chris Conley, anybody stashing for 2019?

Been there, done that. I think he's likely more valuable to the Chief's depth chart than he would be to your fantasy roster. I'm taking flyers elsewhere.

Re: Nick Chubb = Studd

Score another victory for Matt Waldman. He's killed it this year by stubbornly championing both Mahomes and Chubb leading up to this season. Not so much Dante Pettis... I'm still not giving up on him just yet. The knee issue hasn't helped, but earlier in the year before he was hurt his routes, stem...

Re: The Real Lamar Jackson Thread

Last week Jackson got wide open in the endzone on a designed play, but Flacco never bothered to look that way. Maybe reading too much into it, but Flacco doesn't seem too keen on LJ's presence. I remember that play and though the same thing. Not donning the tinfoil hat just yet, but you wonder if F...
