Re: Did Jesus Christ die and rise rom the dead?

Well, I understand that my sharing of logic and resources that are, let's just say, worth looking into, weren't shared in an attempt to change minds. Rather, they were shared in attempt that maybe, a few of you, would be either confident enough in your 'faith' that'd you'd be comfortable enough to t...

Re: Did Jesus Christ die and rise rom the dead?

I know, I know. Some of that mind set reminds me of a younger teenage type approach to listening. In a way it is akin to plugging your ears, looking up at the ceiling, and saying to yourself "lalalalalala" as a parent is giving advice or otherwise talking. It is a sad truth about indoctrination. But...

Re: Shane Vereen

It's fine to wait and see though. Stranger things have happened. If your roster space allows, having him as a bottom of the roster / bench guy isn't the worst thing to do. ie; There are worse roster cloggers out there.

Re: What to do with 4th and 5th round picks?

I agree with all mentioned above and is great advise. But I think the answer to the question is make your list of known player at least as long as available draft picks. Then I usually draft high athletic profile guys with those picks, like Chris Carson 5th, Rob Kelly 5th, Jalen Richard, Tyreek Hil...

Re: T.Owens better earn a HOF induction this year!

How in the hell did Terrell Davis get in over him? He had like 4 good seasons... Exactly!!!! It's absolutely asinine and completely ridiculous T.O. isn't a Hall of Famer. He is arguably one of the GREATEST WRs to ever play. The man dominated week in and week out. Yes, his personality was a diva and...

Re: Landry tagged

there is a reason the dolphins gave Kenny Stills a 4 year extension and reluctantly franchise tagged Jarvis Landry after trying to trade him for the last year. At a cheap price that they can easily bail out of! Landry is a stud aside from Stills getting a contract you have no reasoning that hes bet...

Re: Shane Vereen

I agree with the majority here. Likely your answer is No. Even if he does land in a spot where it seems on the surface like he may have some semblance of a role, His fantasy production will leave you guessing, hoping, and praying - and grasping at straws. One could make the very obvious leap here th...

Re: What to do with 4th and 5th round picks?

Use them to move up or trade out into next year's draft but by the time you get to your actual draft you will recognize some names. Yep ^ Either move them in package deals to sweeten the offer or close a deal or use them as flyer picks. It is nice to hit on guys late in the draft from time to time....

Re: Did Jesus Christ die and rise rom the dead?

After giving our thread discussion a few days of rest, I'm wondering if anyone has taken the initiative to look into the links, authors, and sources I offered? I've since purchased, started and finished a book by Sam Harris titled "Letter to a Christian Nation". It is a short (115pages), easy to rea...

Re: Doug Martin's future

Barber gets a bump in value for now. Not in my eyes. They will be drafting a rb early. Barber's value stays where it was. Your signature is ironic in the context of this reply. The reality is indeed that Barber gets an objective bump in value for now. It's the present depth-chart fact, regardless o...

Re: Gronk to retire?

I don't recall it either. If there was a conversation, it was private. There was no buzz about the 28 year old Gronk retiring prior to the SB, at least that I'm aware of. Now, a few unsupported blips here and there and we have people justifying offering a 1.06 rookie pick for him. Man, everyone want...

Re: Gronk to retire?

Well, How confident are you that you'll get a startable / quality player with that 1.06 pick. If history has anything to say, you stand a slightly better than a 50% shot at hitting or missing on a player. The 1.06 for Gronk straight up is an offensive offer. I'd have told you to %$%^ off most likely...

Re: Gronk to retire?

smh. Its as if we invent drama to talk about. I think (and of course I could be wrong), but, this is just something that happens now. We make mountains out of molehills. Unfortunately, it is the norm. It hasn't always been. It is a rumor until we hear something of some merit or legitimacy. All spec...

He is worth a late 1st plus a flyer. The offers could be viewed as a conversation starter at best.
