Re: Is there a public dlf league to follow?

While the Hall of Famers League has more renowned members, the DLF Premium League is way better, has non-stop GroupMe chatter and is full of cool guys, unlike the primma donnas in the HoFL. Perfect example is Arryt hijacking my DLF PL vacancy post with one of his own. DLF Premuim League will also g...

Re: Peterson / Guice in DC

Yes, the 2019 preseason will be helpful for Guice, that is for sure. Typically though, I'd caution someone when taking too much from preseason. Remember, most defenses are a bit vanilla, there are more generic plays called, all in all, it isn't the same. For Guice though, he is coming off of an ACL ...

Re: Peterson / Guice in DC

I don't understand how everyone can be so certain of a guy who missed a full year, had injury complications, and hasn't played an NFL snap. It just boggles my mind. We don't even know what he looks like in an NFL game yet. Well this guy was seen as the consensus 1.02 rookie pick in a loaded RB clas...

Re: Peterson / Guice in DC

Guice still has a lot of upside. That, I'll admit. He, unfortunately also has a lot of questions associated with his short and long term future. His story is a crazy one and, I, for one, would love to see him make something of the opportunity he has in front of him. I don't own Guice anywhere, still...

Re: Vikings OC?

Nepotism does suck. I agree there. But, until we find out a bit more, I doubt that Cousins will simply ignore NFL coaching. I see Cousins as a tad more of a professional than that. I wouldn't blindly dismiss any coaching as Sometimes a different perspective can be a good thing. Kubiak has a nice tra...

Re: What to make of the AB situation?

Second: the team had a lot more problems than the QB play. Actually, the QB wasn't even near the top of the list of problems, considering Beathard and Mullens had several quite decent games. Niners were 32nd in picks, 22nd in sacks, 28th in points allowed, 32nd in TO differential, 22nd in pass-prot...

Re: Peterson / Guice in DC

C.Thompson, when healthy, is an exceptional receiving threat out of the backfield. Lets not forget that or minimize that aspect of his game. AP, when healthy is or can be still a beast of a runner. He is a lock as a first ballot HOF'r - and Guice has yet to take an NFL snap. Wishing something to be ...

Re: The Real Lamar Jackson Thread

Agreed. I do play in only 1qb leagues so, I'd be ok with L.Jackson as my #2. Depending on him more frequently than a few weeks out of the fantasy season isn't something I'd like to do at this point knowing what I know now. Could he improve, sure. Could things go south for him, yep, that to is possib...

Re: The Real Lamar Jackson Thread

Fair enough Jigga94. No fault in ranking him where you have him. I understand your take but I personally have him lower than you do and If I were to bet, I don't think he will be a fantasy qb worth rostering in the long term. I could be wrong, but I see him as likely to get seriously injured at some...

Re: CJAnderson looks like Jerome Bettis

I think I'll let CJ Anderson be someone else's thing to deal with. At this point in his career, he is a JAG. Yes, you could roster him, and sure, he could provide some depth down the stretch depending upon where he goes. But... I think it'll be tough to determine when he will be used and when he'll ...

Re: The Real Lamar Jackson Thread

Wowzers. I'll chirp in, but, I'll stay out of the skirmish. L.Jackson is far from a finished product. He is very inexperienced and raw. Jackson is a gifted athlete and a very talented runner with good speed, wiggle, and vision. His passing is - well, not good. I'm not confident that his passing will...

He's getting a gig somewhere next year. He might even start again after the run he's had lately.
I'm happy for CJ, but, I find it unlikely that he ever is named a starter anywhere in the NFL again - Despite what he's done these past couple games.
