Re: Anyone nervous owning K Hunt?

Don't own him anywhere. I'm not a hater though. I was very impressed with him and how he exploded onto the scene last season. (I think we all were). I think, if he is healthy, he's a lock for top 10 rb scoring. I don't see it close to likely that he is the #1 overall rb in fantasy scoring however. T...

Re: Chris Thompson startup value?

^ me too. It's just pretty simple to me. Garcon brings very replaceable production to the table. He is a wr3 or wr4 most likely and along with that happens to be in the twilight stages of his career. One can find wr to fit that role pretty easily. Running back production like Thompson brings is toug...

Re: Brandon Marshall officially signs with Seattle

lol. Yeah, compared to you and I, Lockett is a veteran and has much more experience in the NFL. Compared to anyone. A third year player active for and heavily involved in every game but one since he was drafted is a veteran by any NFL team's reckoning. I guarantee you no one in the Seattle locker r...

Re: Rico Gathers?

It was a win win. At the time in the draft you could have made the argument that he was in the "best player available" discussion. That, coupled with adding great young talent to a position that takes time to learn, PLUS taking the talent that everyone and their brother knew that Dallas was going to...

Re: Chris Thompson startup value?

OK. Agree to disagree. You could be right. You could be wrong. Not sure about Garcon's contract situation there. I just highly doubt he is SanFran's #2 wr in 2019-2020, let alone after that. It just isn't likely that a 33 - 35 year old puts up wr3 fantasy numbers, but, It does happen. I've always li...

Re: Chris Thompson startup value?

Garcon turns 32 in August. Not sure if you all knew that. Not only do you not really need him, but, when you do need him, he won't be worth rostering or starting. Id guess that Garcon begins to show a decline and he won't be around too much longer. Thompson is 27 but he is a ppr rb more than anythin...

lol. Yeah, compared to you and I, Lockett is a veteran and has much more experience in the NFL. The "juice" you speak of that you felt was missing I'm sure is a good observation. I'd agree. Marshall isn't a spring chicken anymore. And.... Neither is Eli Manning. I think he (Manning) is washed up. Ma...

Re: Brandon Marshall officially signs with Seattle

Marshall is a very proven blocker. I'd imagine that, along with the needed possession / red zone receiving target, was a big part of the appeal. I agree that his presence (if healthy and on the field) will help Wilson, but, I'll add that I think that he will help their struggling run blocking as well.

Re: Brandon Marshall officially signs with Seattle

Maybe a salvageable fantasy season for Marshall. My best guess (assuming he makes the team and stays healthy) is wr3/wr4 type numbers. No, he isn't what he once was but, in that offense, he should have a nice red zone role, 3rd down role, and aside from Baldwin, he brings some needed veteran presenc...

Re: David Johnson longevity

Thinking DJ will be relevant in fantasy in 5-7 years is just silly. Do yourselves a favor and don't try to project NFL rb anywhere past 2 years. Way too many things can happen in one 16 game NFL season. Weird how we are able to dismiss that. Cripes, it isn't like we are discussing a kicker here. He ...

Re: The Tavon Hype Train is Real

I love watching the Cowboys trend downward. Im betting they are around 500 this season and are a middle of the pack non playoff team. I think Dak is way overrated and with virtually no offensive weapons around him, Zeke is going to get smothered. Get your popcorn ready, this season will be fun to wa...

Re: Kerryon Johnson in Detroit

Well, To play devils advocate here a bit. Detroit did make attempts at addressing their run blocking deficiencies. Their Defense has been trending in the right direction, and they did bring in Blount to help with the short yardage & goal line issues. Basically, what I'm saying is I think this is the...

Re: Declined Overpays...

Most of us in dynasty settings don't stress too often about bye weeks. I found myself trying to figure my way through a late season bye week potential issue last night. Not thinking this is a huge overpay offer by me at all, but here was the scenario and my thoughts. I have 3 qbs on this one contend...

JFever :" Look a this movie named "Come Sunday". It talked to me a lot.
