Re: 3 1sts Too Much for Gurley?

So, of the four firsts I have, I figure one will be 1-3, two will be 3-8, and one will (hopefully) be 10-12 (mine). I was able to give my first, the likely early first and one of the middle firsts. This at least allows me to still have a decent first round pick. Final Trade: Gave: Tyrell Williams, 3...

Re: 3 1sts Too Much for Gurley?

Thanks, I appreciate the help. He seems pretty set on which three of the firsts he wants, but I'll if I can grab one of the two I think will be earlier.

Trade Complete: Gurley/Dem. Thomas for 3 1sts+

I was offered Gurley for three of my firsts (two have a good chance of being Top 5). I told him I didn't feel comfortable giving up all the potential of three firsts for Gurley. He countered with Gurley/Demaryious Thomas for 3 firsts, a second, and Ty. Williams. I'm competitive this year (finals las...

Re: C.J. Anderson or Demaryious Thomas?

Seemed kind of split here, but I was able to get his 2nd for his (took it in a previous trade) third.

Final: C.J. Anderson/3rd or Demaryious Thomas/2nd?

Jesters in signature.

Pretty straight forward. I have a decent WR core with a less than stellar RB group, but I only need to start one. I know CJ had a good game, but is it sustainable, or should I buy Thomas while I can?

Re: McCoy Is Making My Heart Hurt...

He's killing me. All he had to do was score 10 less points than Olsen this week and I win. He couldn't even do that.

Would giving him up for B. Oliver and O. Beckham be a reasonable price to be looking for right now?

Re: PLEASE!!! Need advice on what to do with unbalanced trad

There really isn't a rule you can implement. You just have to deal with the consequences. It's not a great trade, sure, but if the other guy is rebuilding it may help. Sure, a second may not be much, by he essentially profited two players via extra picks. Depending on how the draft works, he may not...

Re: Hopkins/Hill for Smith/Mason

I liked the original trade. Getting the pick upgrade is even better. Throw in the fact that neither RB is a lock for your roster at the end of the year, so you've basically upgraded at WR and pick, and I think it's a win all the way around.

Re: League Infrastructure Question

I don't play in a 2QB league, but starting two seems rough. Assuming 12 team leagues, that's 24 required starters. Add in the fact that there's some weeks where six of those guys are on bye and you can be looking at little to no options if one guy has a strangle hold on QBs, even if limited to five....

Re: Trade for Calvin

Calvin, but I would then put Megatron up on the trading block and get as much as I could for him. He's worth much more than this. I said WAYYYYYYYY back in March or April, that his large frame, being the only target in Detroit, and catching passes from an erratic QB would eventually take a toll on ...

Re: Going into MNF: Week 5

Tortoises in sig...I need Morris to score -120 points or I fall to 2-3.
Thunderbirds in sig..I need Seattle Def to score -51 points or I fall to 2-4 (Wk 3 Double Header)

I think it's safe to say, I don't stand much of a chance tonight.

Re: Future Value Irrelevant

If you want a big name stud, you have to give up a big name player. Going after a stud and not having someone like Jordy even in the conversation isn't going to make things work. I don't know what your offers are, but things like "Floyd and a 1st" probably isn't going to get you an elite WR.

Re: state of my team

I feel your woes. Had two solid contenders and both are below .500.

I would rather trade Marshall over Cobb and see what you could get. Also, Newton for Wilson and Wheaton isn't horrible depending on the scoring format.

Re: Jeffery/Vereen or K. Allen/Sankey?

One last attempt to see if I can get any thoughts on this issue. I'm considering pulling the trigger as I feel Vereen will serve better as bye week fill in the next two weeks.
