Re: Draft pick trade

There was a trade in my league between 2 owners. Trade was Josh Gordon for a 2019 conditional 1st. Condition was that if Gordon got suspended this year it cancelled the 2019 1st. The owner that was set to receive the 2019 1st says he should still get the pick because the other owner is done for the...

Re: Trade Deadline or not

We shut down trading at Week 13. However, there is a consolation bracket that plays for an extra 1st round pick, so there isn't much incentive to skew playoff games, if anything the prices are high. We open trading up immediately following conclusion of the season, so more or less week 14, 15, and 1...

Re: Josh Gordon Reinstatement

Sad waste of talent, but from a fantasy perspective someone that should've been sold high any number of times.

Try to find an owner who's worried. Certainly worth any risk if you can buy low.

Re: Is This Collusion? (Biological Brothers Scenario)

Problematic that you can't engage both owners in trade discussions. If they are doing that on trading, they are likely discussing and working to each other's benefits on the draft and waiver wire as well. I'd be especially weary of any trades they make with each other. I play in a league with my bro...

Re: Mike Williams and Corey Davis

It was an exciting game for Davis for sure. I have a hard time jumping immediately to 'has arrived' status though. Mariota had an extreme number of passing attempts in a script against one of the leagues best rushing defenses. Tennessee still continues to be a run first team (2nd in the league in ru...

Re: Trey Burton - value as a free agent in a rookie/fa draft

If you look at the Rookie Drafts posted on here He often goes as early as 2.1 to 2.3 in 12-team leagues. I was able to get him at 2.6. If you want to make sure you get him then beginning of 2nd round, although he may make it to mid 2nd. When I grabbed him at 2.6, the teams that were at 2.7 and 2.8 w...

Re: Guice ACL - Who Should Go 1.02?

If you are not in need of immediate RB production and you're sold on Guice more than anyone else take him anyway. Or you could trade back to 1.03-1.04 and likely take him there. Or take Penny. I believe in DDs running back report and it graded Penny alongside Guice. So in terms of trading back a co...

Re: Rookie Running Backs and a Famous Statistics Problem

I didn't read all the posts here, but I will say that I am an actuary and I can assure you this is not a Monty Hall situation. In a Monty Hall situation there is 100% certainty of a winning selection being included in the choice of options remaining, once you remove one. It is not inconceivable, alb...

Re: Guice torn ACL out for year. What's this do to his value in rookie drafts still to come?

He's no longer my #2 in value. He lost a full year of his NFL career that's a lot of value for RBs. He also battled knee injury issues in 2017, so this is not new for him. Some already viewed him as having passing game limitations, he won't be getting the reps this year to work through that. I hate ...

Re: I am a bit of a lowballer how should I go about starting trades?

That’s the other side of this coin and no response even to offers you consider bad is a quick way to get people to stop sending you offer so. Everyone evacuees players differently, why take offense? I don't take offense, but if someone offers me Jeremy Maclin for JuJu Smith-McCallister, I assume he...

Re: I am a bit of a lowballer how should I go about starting trades?

When I get offers that are too far off my value of the player, I just auto-decline, to me it says something about how you value the player you are trying to get. If someone doesn't want to lead with a fair offer and instead drops me a message to negotiate I am more than happy to discuss.
