Re: 2024 Off-Season Trades

One: Wow that's pricey.

Two: I much prefer Mayfield/Pickens side

Three: Cheap to get a share of Kendre. But I suppose given the TEP Fant has elevated value.

Re: Easy reject or am I too high on DJ?

I'm passing as well. I don't see a big difference b/w Diontae and Metcalf for '24. I'd prefer Metcalf but not by enough to warrant the rest of that.

Re: Premium RB’s Worth The Price Tag

Unless you get them in a rookie draft or you buy low on them, it doesn't seem to work out well. RBs are too up and down, too replaceable, too reliant on offensive line play and have too many injuries. I wouldn't trade three firsts for any RB. Two years ago Jonathan Taylor was this untouchable asset...

Re: London/+ or Bijan (POLL)

I wouldn't do it either. It's a philosophy thing - I don't want roster the top tier of RBs in dynasty. The value/volatility are too much for me. Bijan might be the exception to the rule but who knows. History says if you're not CMC, you're risky. Ask the Najee managers. It's hard to remember how &q...

Re: Achane or Young

I am SMASH taking Young. Achane is getting priced close to his realistic upside . Given his profile and injury history, it's hard to imagine him ever being a bell-cow. Aaron Jones usage is probably tops for him. Not saying that's bad! But he's almost priced there already, and there is a real chance...

Re: Andrews + ? for Saquon

If I was a contender, I wouldn't find Andrews/old RB all that compelling. The issue is there's no TEP and TE is one out of 10 starters. I'd be inclined to punt the position which it sounds like the other team has been doing.

Re: How high do you take jonathan brooks

Brooks and Benson are going higher than they should go simply because of demand. As the 2017 RB class ages out, RB supply is dwindling, which is what is driving up demand. In Full PPR, neither RB should go ahead of Worthy, Brian Thomas Jr., or even McConkey, but further we get from the draft the hi...

Still taking Bowers over Nabers here.

If Bowers has a '23 LaPorta-type season he's scoring as many points as Puka and the TEs on your roster aren't very good.
Me too. This is a high enough TEP that I'm taking Bowers.

Re: Not at all early 2025 Draft thread

Is there a consensous 1.01 already like there was this year for MHJ and last year for Bijan? Or still waiting for someone to separate themselves in the college season? Burden is the presumptive, not guaranteed, top pick for 1QB next season. Not sure he's the level of prospect of either MHJR or Bijan.

Re: Lamb - Tier Down

I would NOT do this. This feels far too light for Lamb. You would either have to give me a much better RB (I don't like either of the TEN RB's) or another 1st on top of this to move Lamb. Maybe even more! We have yet to see what ARich will do to Pittman. Where do you expect that 25 1st and who do y...

Re: How high do you take jonathan brooks

I'm drafting at 1.05 in 1QB and am contemplating taking him there even though I am set at RB. I've gone back and forth on it so many times. I just think the WR market has become flooded with young talent that they frankly either need to be top 10 (maybe even top 5!) options or they're all the same....

Lamb - Tier Down

Considering making this offer: Give: Lamb Get: Pittman, Pollard, 2025 1st Trying to accomplish two things: 1) banking a 2025 1st and 2) locking in the TEN RBs (I have Spears). This is a contending SF team. PPR, no-TEP, start 10 (so depth matters). I have Pittman as a to-10 option for '24 (so I'm hig...

Re: How high do you take jonathan brooks

But one caveat - it's possible that no one can produce T12RB results in CAR. It might just be a messy slog with a RBBC, bad game flow, low scoring, etc. I agree that Brooks appears to be the best bet but it's a crowded RB room esp. with the (odd) addition of always injured Penny. No disagreement th...

Re: How high do you take jonathan brooks

I get it that rookie WRs are the darlings of dynasty world. But at some point, teams have to draft for need. This "draft for talent" sounds good on paper, but doesn't always work in the real world. If a team is stacked and ready to contend, but light at RB, I can't think of a good reason ...
