Re: Spiller
If someone wants to project a 5th rd RB ahead of one who was selected in the top 10 then that's their decision. I don't need to watch any more film on White. I watched several of them in an effort to try to determine if he had enough value for me to add to my fantasy team and I have told you what I...

Re: Spiller
Don't forget that Spiller is garden hose dumb. I know you don't need to be a rocket scientist to play RB in the NFL, but there has to be some learning curve for blocking assignments and playbook competence. The lack of off season football activities won't help him in his preparation for 2011.

Re: Spiller
I'm really not quite sure what to make of Johnny White. He was drafted in the fifth round, doesn't scare me too much as a Spiller owner. Have you watched any tape on White? I'd be at least concerned as a Spiller owner that the Jackson/White combo would keep him from getting considerable touches in ...

Re: Man Crushes and how do you manage them?
Jamaal Charles :D I own him in 5 of 7 leagues I'm currently in. If I have a man crush, I try and get that player in every league I can, because I'm convinced it will pay off. I've been right (Charles) and wrong (Aromashadu - although not giving up yet). My relationship with Charles may have transcen...

Re: Jacquizz Rodgers
Johny White 2011 = James Davis 2010 :D Jason Hill couldn't beat out Josh Morgan Every 9er fan will tell you Hill > Morgan. Singletary's dumbass was the only who didnt know. To no one's surprise, Hill immidately contributed in a big way for JAX. Hill contributing in a big way? He had 11 receptions f...

Re: Which St Louis WR will become the #1
Hey orca! Do you want to get our wagers going early this year? I will say that Amendola will lead the Rams wrs in scoring this year in ppr formats. I wouldn't be surprised if Amendola does lead the Rams this year. That's a good call. I won't take that bet. I would take the bet that Danario Alexande...

Re: Which St Louis WR will become the #1
From Rotoworld: According to 101 ESPN St. Louis' Tony Softli, Danario Alexander has been "dragging that leg" in Rams player-organized offseason workouts. Softli is referring to Alexander's five-times surgically repaired left knee. "That really bothers me, that scares me," Softli ...

Re: Which St Louis WR will become the #1
No offense but I find the # of Alexander loves to be laughable really. The guy has a lot of talent but he also has the worst knees in the league (maybe a tie with Hardesty there). I see him as a reasonable, cheap gamble but people are banking on him to have a huge season in a lot of cases and that ...

Good point. That is pretty funny. I'm not sold on Spiller's ability to learn pass protection or work ethic either.MikeCross wrote:hpaphahahahahhahahhOrca wrote:If Spiller keeps working on his game and learns the offense he should be able to serve as a future change of pace back for Johnny White.

Re: What if the Owners negotiated by the players rules?
I'm sure I'm not the only one who thinks the union de-certification sham by the players is lame. And, I'm very concerned for the health of the league if the players continue to win in court. So, I have a different idea that may solve the problem for the owners. What if they said, "Ok players, ...

Re: Lockout injunction issued
An excellent article in the Wall Street Journal written by Roger Goodell. http://online.wsj.com/article/SB10001424052748704132204576285090526726626.html?KEYWORDS=footballs+future+if+the+players+win The last few paragraphs: Is this the NFL that players want? A league where elite players attract enor...
