Re: Discussion: How egregious does a trade need to be before you support a veto?

I mean, that's not a trade that should have a veto or commish involvement. I'd rather have the Mahomes side, but without seeing the league, rosters, scoring, and depth for these guys it seems fine. Maybe the Mahomes owner also has a lack of RBs, maybe the own Wilson too, maybe they have Williams an...

Re: Discussion: How egregious does a trade need to be before you support a veto?

Finally, here is the trade that I saw that started this thread: 10 Team SF A: Mahomes, Curtis Samuel B: KW3, Deebo, Fields I mean, that's not a trade that should have a veto or commish involvement. Re: Discussion: How egregious does a trade need to be before you support a veto?

The bolded is what I was asking in starting this thread. Or rather, just asking what is it that would trigger someone to want a trade vetoed. I was thinking about this kind of on the whole and found a good thought experiment of what I think would help the discussion: When we deal with players, peop...

Re: Discussion: How egregious does a trade need to be before you support a veto?

There's gray area on how bad a trade needs to be in order to veto or determine collusion. Extreme example but say in 2021 you traded Trey Lance for a 2023 3rd. The league would go nuts. But what if that 3rd turned into Puka? This argument is one that people make ALL. THE. TIME. It is wholly illogic...

Re: Discussion: How egregious does a trade need to be before you support a veto?

Collusion duh. League health also matters significantly. If there's a deal that absolutely pillages a team, people need to step in. What is a threshold of "pillages" for you? And it doesn't even have to be that egregious. Someone trading Mahomes for JJMcCarthy+pieces, I'll let this horrib...

Discussion: How egregious does a trade need to be before you support a veto?

Topic title. Feel free to articulate it however you like.

Only collusion?
A specific gap in value?
A new owner being an idiot?
League health?

Re: Adonai AD Mitchell Official Thread

I just got him with pick 26 in my first draft. You kidding me? This after i went with btj with pick 10. My draft is going to have a high bust risk. But could also boom to the Max. I get that draft spot. I really like Mitchell’s talent a lot, but I can’t help but think IND is setting up a BAL O clon...

Re: Why Rome Odunze is the WR2 in the class

Even in conferences that "have good Ds" that doesn't mean that the CBs are good. If you want to pull stats like this, pull stats where a WR faced NFL drafted CBs. Odunze, Nabers, any WR.

Re: Why Rome Odunze is the WR2 in the class

So the question on Odunze is if you’re willing to pay MHJr/Nabers level prices. Anyone with the 1.06 (Caleb, MHJr, Daniels, Nabers, Bowers in SF/TE Prem drafts) isn’t selling for anything less than early 1st prices because in any other draft he’d be a 1.01-1.04 pick. I asked about those picks and w...

Re: Why Rome Odunze is the WR2 in the class

I never understood why people immediately started fading Odunze post draft due to landing spot. I LOVE the landing spot tied to Caleb for his career. Keenan may only last one season and DJ Moore will settle into his WR2 spot where he belongs or they may need to move on for cap reasons. Right or wro...

Re: Why Rome Odunze is the WR2 in the class

Had 9 100-yard receiving games, just two shy of the school record of 11 set by Josh Reed in 2001 … Season totals of 89 receptions and 1,569 yards rank No. 3 in LSU single-season history … His 14 TDs rank as the fourth-highest total in school history … Ranks No. 6 in SEC history for receiving yards ...

Re: Adonai AD Mitchell Official Thread

I have been a type 1 diabetic for 42 years. I know more than you. I’m sure you do, but you don’t know more than doctors that contradict your statements. Here’s another lesson: one person’s experience is not everyone’s experience. Thanks for the lesson on something you know nothing about. https://gp...

Re: Adonai AD Mitchell Official Thread

Diabetes doesn’t have any effect on your personality or how “normal” you feel in the morning. Unless he’s cranky because he just found out he has it. A simple Google search shows you don’t know what you’re talking about. I have been a type 1 diabetic for 42 years. I know more than you. I’m sure you...

Re: Adonai AD Mitchell Official Thread

He has type 1 diabetes. Apparently, people with this don't feel normal until somewhere prior to noon. When are combine interviews? In the morning. Just something to consider if that was holding you back. Diabetes doesn’t have any effect on your personality or how “normal” you feel in the morning. U...
